I enjoy the artistic freedom that painting gives me to portray emotions, colour and design and many of my inspirations originate in nature. I use the fluid wash and transparency of the pure watercolour technique often combined with other mediums including inks and pencil.

I am also enjoying the medium of acrylics on canvas for some more oblique abstractions of art form. I like to intersperse my watercolour techniques with my acrylic paints to allow spaces and shapes to emerge and play with our emotions.
